Où il est question d’une petite fille et de son grand-père, d’une voiture dans les âpres paysages de Lithuanie et d’une visite bouleversante. Un très grand film sur la solitude de l’enfance.

« Usually I don't like to explain before the film is screened. It could ruin the film, and people would think only about the story behind the film. The film is pure documentary, it was filmed during one day. Travel of a girl to the prison to meet her mother and travel back. Nothing is staged, all our interruptions you can see in the film. As it is a true story and the girl is real and her mother is in the prison for six years for drugs, and their meeting is an important event in girls life, I decided to be honest with it and not to pretend that we are not there and decided not to make art from a real tragedy. » Audrius Stonys, à propos de son film « alone »
